Meet Megan Madion, the founder of Modus45. In 2007, Megan was in a severe bike accident and fractured her tailbone and pelvis. A constant mover and avid competitor in Nordic and Alpine skiing, running and triathlons - the nine month recovery was very difficult. Ironically, nine months after her recovery, she flew to Guatemala to pick up her 11 month adopted daughter, Mae.
Megan, working full time and a single mom had very little energy for wellness. Desiring to move her body, tried to gain back strength by small movements that felt challenging, safe and good. Mae was always with her so she spent much of her time on the floor, in a small space, moving her body. Ultimately rebuilding her strength and competitive spirit while at the same time creating and designing Modus45.
